Halloween (also called Samhain) is a hauntingly good time here in Witch City, Salem, Massachusetts. Salem is famous for our Haunted Happenings activities that go on for the month of October. Thousands of visitors and locals join in our local festivities, including those of us at the VFW.

        Salem's Haunted Happenings

We had all kinds of interesting individuals arrive in a variety of costume wear. Prizes were given for best costumes and plenty of "Spirits" were raised in the course of the evening. Karaoke was also a major part of our fun and entertainment. We had a great spaghetti and meatball dinner hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary. Here are some of our interesting individuals that arrived for the harvest celebration.
