I will serve the Great Goddess

Any information or graphic material I included in these pages are contributions literally from my Book-of-Shadows (of which I have nearly three dozen, 2-4 inch thick notebook volumes and several cyberfiles). I have been collecting much of this information from countless sources... along with much of my own original work for over 30 years or so... I will try very, very hard to make references available or provide web links to my information that I include here... but much of it is no longer known, or available to me, or much of it is simply a part of public knowledge or inner psychic awareness... any infringement is not intentional. I will happily remedy any problems and make reference sources known as I am provided with the information. I would also welcome any contributions from my readers with full acknowledgement given to the source.)

The reader assumes full responsibility for the use and intentions of these items. These rituals, preparations, symbolisms, amulets, tools, or any other information provided here are to be used as informational guidelines only. Many, I personally, do not use, but have collected and are found in my Book of Shadows as more of a "collector's item" than as something I would actually use myself. Many come from old folklore or ancient times. If you do find something you would like to use, I expect you to adapt them for your own use and understand fully what you are doing. Spells/rituals seem to work better when they from the practitioner in his/her own words and creation. I do not guarantee that any of these rites, folklore, or tools work in the manner for which they are given. You get out of anything what you put into it.
Since I am very eclectic and do not follow any one tradition, I use a little from all areas as needed or desired. I use what feels "right" for me and for my purpose. These pages will show this. I also believe that information is to be shared and explored by those who are interested in learning. I also believe that spiritual/magickal information should be treated with respect and considered sacred and handled as if it were a precious jewel. I collect spiritual-magickal information from a variety of traditions, not just Wicca/Wicce.
I consider myself primarily a solitary Pagan Witch (not necessarily Wiccan in the full sense of the meaning, but close enough that I can and will use the term interchangeably with Witch). I have found that most people are more comfortable with the term Wiccan than with Witch. I also am matriarch of my own fam-trad coven consisting of my family members. I have taken on and initiated neophytes, but do not desire to take on any student at this current time or believe in degrees, for the most part. So please don't email me and ask if I will teach you the craft. I have been considered to be a more of a "Hedge Witch" or a "Green Witch" since I work primarily with herbs and herbal lore (such as in my midwifery) and energy working (being a Reiki Practitioner and Therapist). These are used for healing purposes primarily in my midwifery practice. As a rule, I also prefer to keep my rituals simple, to the point and as uncomplicated as possible. This works for me. Ceremonial magick, although having it's place, is not a big part of my spiritual practice, but you may find some of this information included here too, depending on how ambitious I get in putting information up on my website.
Magickal energy is neutral, as with all energy. It is the intention of the practitioner which makes the magick positive or negative. You are responsible for your own work and outcomes. Keep things as positive as possible.
