Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis), 1 ounce (30 grams) driet root
Burdock (Arctium lappa), 1/4 ounce (7 grams) dried root
Peony (Paeonia off.), 1/4 ounce (7 grams) dried root
Dandelion (Taraxucum off.), 1/4 ounce (7 grams) dried root
Put your root in a pint (60 ml) jar and fill it to the top with 100 proof vodka or apple cider vinegar. Cap well and label. Wait at least six weeks before using. If you have fresh burdock, dandelion, or peony root (yes, it's the one in your garden), substitute 1 ounce (30 grams) fresh for 1/4 ounce (7 grams) dried. To take, put a dropperful into a cup of water or fenugreek seed (Trigonella foenum-graecum) tea.
Caution: It's an old wives tale that says that there is a baby in every cup of fenugreek.
