A package of Betty Crocker's muffin mix (15.5 to 19.6 ounces), prepared as directed on package, can make more than just 12 regular muffins. You can make them perfectly sized for little hands or great big hungry man appetites. Just follow the baking directions below. The bake times below can vary depending on the flavor, so check for doneness at the minimum time, then every 2 minutes until done. Once you have the baking time determined for your favorite flavor, jot it down and save it for the next time you bake that flavor.
For Mini-Muffins, fill each cup about 3/4 full (about 1 tablespoon each).
For Extra-Large Muffins, fill each cup almost full.
